Our Rinjani join group prices are low and our profit per trekker is small. But Mount Rinjani is our home and our workplace, and trash on the trails, at the camps and around Segara Anak lake hurts the mountain we love.
USD 3 for every guide and porter who carries trash down
Every guide and porter on our join group treks who carries trash down the mountain receives a USD 3 reward from us. Not only the trash from our own group – also trash left behind by other hikers. Guides and porters receive the same reward.
A small note – and our apology
We can pay this reward on join groups of at least 4 trekkers. With fewer people it is not possible for us: our sharing group price is so low that the profit is very small. We hope you understand.
How you can help
- Keep your wrappers and bottles in your bag
- Leave nothing behind at camp
- If you see trash on the way down, show it to your guide
